Who is Jeremy Jones?
Jeremy was born in Northern Ireland and lived there for 25 years before moving to London in 1986. He lived in London for over 20 years before moving back to his home town of Whitehead in 2007 where he lives today.
Jeremy was educated at Belfast Royal Academy in the class of ’78. He studied Computer Science & Business Administration at Queen’s University and the University of Ulster before joining the IT Department of Short Brothers in Belfast as an Analyst/Programmer.
In 1986 Jeremy moved to London to join the Software House MMT Computing plc as an Analyst/Programmer working for clients such as Bull Information Systems, British Telecom and Marks & Spencer. Jeremy moved into “IT Personnel Sales” at MMT in 1991, under the watchful eye of Mike Tilbrook, and stayed at MMT until their takeover in 2003.
Jeremy joined Gresham Computing plc in 2004 as a Senior Sales Consultant within their IT Recruitment Division and continued his successful career in IT Sales for the next 5 years.
In 2009 Jeremy was recruited by Investment Solutions Consultants LLP to set up a Resource & Recruitment Division, CSI Resourcing, for them. CSI Resourcing provided resources to its clients and supported ISC with its resourcing needs.
In 2012, Jeremy formed his own company TWIN Computer Personnel to provide mutually beneficial relationship management to the recruitment & resourcing process within the IT Industry.
Jeremy is a keen golfer, having played for Junior Ireland at under-18 level and under-21 level. He was awarded a University “Blue” for golf from Queens University in 1982.
Jeremy enjoys most sports, including Rugby Union & Football and for what it is worth, is a Liverpool Football Club supporter.
Jeremy married Maria in 2000 and has been blessed with two wonderful kids, William & Olivia, who were born in July 2003. The twins had a substantial influence in the creation of TWIN Computer Personnel.
